Mountaineering Skills Class on Mt. Hood

Picture
It has been a while since my last post because I have been busy doing a bunch of crazy stuff.  I will try to catch up with some updates of what has been happening.  First of all this past weekend I went in a mountaineering skills class for an overnight trip on Mt. Hood.  This trip was awesome.  It was super windy, sustained 40 mph winds, gusting to 60 mph, but we learned a lot.  We practiced self arrest and rope teams and rope rescue.

Hi, I'm Nilo.  Living in Oregon I mostly enjoy sports by the season. Summer is mountain biking, kayaking and climbing.  Fall is kayaking and surfing.  Winter is skiing and backcountry skiing. Spring is kayaking and late skiing.  All with some traveling thrown in there
