From last Wednesday 9/5 to Sunday 9/9 I went on a backpacking trip around the The Three Sisters in the Cascades (North Sister, Middle Sister and South Sister). My total mileage with the loop, side trips, mistakes and summiting the peak of South Sister was somewhere around 76 miles in five days. I have all of the photos on my photobucket but these below are just mostly the ones with me in them. There are a lot more on that page of just nature which could give you a good idea of the whole trip if you wanted.
The picture above was one on the very first day and the one below was on the second
The picture below is my camp at Morraine Lake
The next three below are at the Summit of South Sister, I left my camp at about 5am and summited at about 9am. The two peaks in the background of the third picture are Middle and North Sister.
The one above is me at Green Lakes
This picture above is cool because you can see a south to north strip of the volcanic arc. From the front you have Mount Washington, Three Finger Jack, Mt. Jefferson, then in the far distance Mt. Hood
This picture above was at the last view I had of any of the Sisters before I turned to the trailhead.
This picture above was a cool view looking west towards the moisture and cloud choked valley towards where I live.

Hi, I'm Nilo. Living in Oregon I mostly enjoy sports by the season. Summer is mountain biking, kayaking and climbing. Fall is kayaking and surfing. Winter is skiing and backcountry skiing. Spring is kayaking and late skiing. All with some traveling thrown in there
